Privacy Policy for Riddle Vault

Riddle Vault ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is developed by Kindix Devs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Riddle Vault, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account via Firebase Authentication. You are never required to sign in to play — you can use the App as a guest, in which case no account information is collected.

Gameplay data. If you sign in, we store your gameplay progress in the cloud (via Google Firebase/Firestore) so it can follow you across devices. This includes:

• Your chosen display name
• Riddles solved, categories completed, and daily streaks
• Achievements unlocked
• Best scores in Timed Challenge and Multiplayer modes

If you play as a guest, this same information is stored only on your device and is not sent to us.

Advertising and usage data. The App displays ads to free (non-Premium) users through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, general location (country/region level), and app usage data to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's own privacy practices. See Section 4 for more detail.

Subscription information. If you purchase a Premium subscription, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — we only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

2. How We Use Information

• To let you sign in and keep your progress synced across devices
• To track achievements, streaks, and scores
• To display and measure ads for free users
• To provide and manage Premium subscription access
• To maintain and improve the App

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Account and gameplay data is stored using Google Firebase, which applies industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit. Access to your cloud data is restricted to your own signed-in account only.

4. Third-Party Services

Riddle Vault uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore database) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy

• Google Play Billing (subscription payments) — policies.google.com/privacy

5. Children's Privacy

Riddle Vault is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can delete it.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• You can play the App as a guest without ever creating an account.
• You can sign out of your Google account within the App's Settings at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us at the email below — we will delete your stored gameplay data within 30 days of a verified request.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
